I am writing to share my experience in the trucking industry, particularly with the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle while on the road. Having worked as an over-the-road (OTR) fleet manager for 3+ years, I have gained firsthand knowledge and expertise in the importance of maintaining the truck to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability throughout each trip.
During my time in the industry, I develop a broad skill set in identifying mechanical issues, troubleshooting, and performing basic maintenance tasks, sometimes in challenging circumstances or locations.
