Dispatcher

This job position requires at least one year of experience working as a dispatcher (53ft).

Your profile:

At least one year of experience working as a dispatcher (53ft)
You have excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
You have interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
You are a team player
You are ready to learn and improve yourself
You have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet browser, Google Apps)
Responsibilities:

Receive calls and record significant information
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Book loads for company drivers and owner operators
Communicate daily with brokers about freight movement and delivery timetables
Monitor drivers’ locations
Monitor drive & shift hours
Monitor the route and status of drivers to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
Enter data in software
Provide documentation about service activities and provide regular updates
Build relationships with drivers
