Senior Freight Broker

We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker / Account Executive to join our team in Belgrade .

This position is for an experienced professional who already understands the US freight market and can confidently manage relationships with shippers, carriers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with US-based shippers and carriers
Source and negotiate freight opportunities
Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers
Coordinate loads from booking through successful delivery
Build and maintain a strong network of reliable carriers
Develop new customer relationships and expand existing accounts
Monitor market rates, capacity and lane activity
Communicate with drivers, carriers, shippers and customers throughout the transportation process
Handle day-to-day brokerage operations and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Contribute to building efficient brokerage processes and workflows
Help establish and grow our brokerage operation in the US market
Requirements

Previous professional experience in US trucking / freight brokerage is REQUIRED
Solid understanding of the US transportation and freight market
Experience working with shippers, carriers and/or freight brokers
Strong knowledge of US lanes, rates, capacity and freight market dynamics
Proven negotiation and communication skills
Experience with load boards and transportation management systems
Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
Strong sales and business development mindset
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Excellent English communication skills
Willingness to work US business hours from our office in Belgrade
