HMD Transport is currently looking for a highly motivated Carrier Sales Representative – Broker to join our brokerage team based in Belgrade.

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role at HMD Transport by identifying, sourcing, and developing strong business relationships with service providers to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.

What Kind Of Candidate Is Suited For This Opportunity?

  • Two (2) years of experience in the USA trucking industry as a broker or a dispatcher;
  • Knowledge of the geography, roads, and metric system of the USA;
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal;Excellent communication skills;
  • Exceptional negotiation skills;
  • Service-oriented individual with effective Customer interaction skills;
  • Advanced ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

What Would Be Your Responsibilities?

  • Booking freight with Carrier companies with obtaining and negotiating competitive rates;
  • Cooperate  with our Customer Sales Reps to offer quotes to current and prospective clients with current market trends;
  • Study and understand market trends and seasonality;
  • Develop new and grow existing carrier network (lead generation, cold calling and referrals);
  • Nurture long-term strategic Carrier/Broker relationships;
  • Ensure that freight paperwork is completed and approved before transportation;
  • Tracking & Tracing with support from other team members;
  • Collaborate with other members of our team to deliver quality results.

Office locations: Novi Beograd
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2 PM – 11 PM (including 1-hour break), with occasional weekend on-call shifts, which are paid additionally by law.
