Qualifications
Must have two years minimum dispatch experience.
Must have worked at each transportation company for more than one year consecutively.
Must be fluent in English both written & verbal. (All interviews will be conducted in English).
Must be able to follow company procedures & rules.
Must be able to adhere to our company’s dress code (Business Casual).
Must possess excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
Must be able to make over 100 calls per day.
Able to handle stressful situations.
Must have good personal organization skills and be able to multi-tasking.
Must be service orientated & able to maintain a good reputation with brokers, drivers & customers.
Responsibilities
The logistics coordinator is responsible for the coordination of on time pick ups and delivery to customers.
Booking loads is not a logistics coordinators only job. What comes before & after is just as important.
Must be able to call all drivers daily & maintain a personal relationship with them.
Must be able to call all brokers & customers daily to maintain a personal relationship with them, to build a strong relationship with them.
Calling shippers & receivers to verify pick up & delivery appointments.
Collecting all BOL’s & POD’s before a driver leaves the shipper or receiver.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all coworkers.
