Safety Assistant

We are a growing DOT Safety Consulting Agency based in Chicago, looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Assistants to join our team in Belgrade. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Pre-Employment Screening Process and Hiring and ensure that all applicants meet our company’s safety and hiring standards.

Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct thorough pre-employment screenings for new applicants.
● Generate and review MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and PSP (Pre-Employment Screening
Program) reports based on drivers’ licenses.
● Perform FMCSA Clearinghouse record checks.
● Communicate effectively with approved applicants via phone and email.
● Schedule pre-employment drug tests through MedStop.
● Collaborate closely with the Recruitment Team to efficiently process applicants and maintain
a smooth hiring workflow.
● Conduct online driver onboarding and hiring.
● Gather required paperwork to create hiring files.
● Obtain necessary trip permits.

Requirements:
● Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Detail-oriented with the ability to process and analyze records for a large number of
candidates efficiently and accurately.
● Previous experience in the trucking industry is a plus, but not required (training will be
provided).
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
