Safety Specialist

Octagon Freight LLC is currently looking for an experienced Safety Specialist to join our team.

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of Safety experience in the trucking industry REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
Experience with ELD systems and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
Excellent English communication skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Monitor driver safety and compliance
Review logs, inspections, and safety reports
Communicate with drivers regarding violations and safety procedures
Maintain safety and compliance records
Assist with driver onboarding and safety training
Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
