We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Safety Compliance Consultant to help motor carriers maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in transportation safety, driver qualification, and regulatory compliance, with a passion for helping clients build safe and compliant operations.

Responsibilities
Prepare and process trucking permits, registrations, and fleet documentation.
Conduct new driver orientation and onboarding for client companies.
Process pre-employment applications and required hiring documentation.
Coordinate pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing programs.
Monitor and maintain driver qualification (DQ) files in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
Track CDL licenses, medical certificates, annual MVRs, and other required compliance documentation.
Assist clients with IFTA reporting, IRP renewals, vehicle registrations, and fuel tax documentation.
Assist with accident investigations, roadside inspection violations, and safety improvement plans.
Collaborate with clients to ensure operational excellence and continuous regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
Previous experience in trucking safety, compliance.
Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, IFTA, IRP, and driver qualification requirements.
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize competing deadlines.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or fleet compliance software is an asset.
