Job Description:

We are seeking a Safety Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a safety-related role and a solid understanding of compliance processes. This position is crucial in ensuring all safety procedures and regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

DQ Compliance: Ensure that all documents comply with safety regulations.

Employment Verification: Conduct employment verifications to ensure hiring practices align with industry standards.

Drug Testing Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule drug testing for employees as required.

FMCSA & US DOT Regulation Oversight: Monitor and ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a safety or compliance role.

Familiarity with FMCSA and US DOT regulations as well as ProTransport

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Knowledge of drug testing procedures and scheduling.
