I’ve spent the last 7 years in freight brokerage, working with US-based shippers and carriers in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. My role involved end-to-end coordination of loads — from sourcing capacity and negotiating rates to dispatching drivers and ensuring on-time delivery. I worked directly with decision-makers and drivers, managed tight timelines, handled daily rate and availability negotiations, and solved problems in real time to keep freight moving. What attracts me to a truck dispatcher role is that it requires the same core skills I’ve built: communication, attention to detail, time management, and staying calm under pressure while keeping operations running smoothly.
