Work & Experience
Safety Officer
Conducts regular checks of driver and vehicle compliance with FMCSA and DOT rules. Assistance in tracking and controlling Hours of Service (HOS) through the ELD system. Collects and keeps records of safety documentation (licenses, MVR, medical examinations, trainings). Participation in research and documentation of traffic incidents and violations. Carrying out internal inspection of vehicles and reporting all irregularities to the relevant sectors. Communication with drivers regarding safety rules, training and corrective measures. Updating and maintaining the safety database and driver files. Participates in the preparation of safety performance reports (CSA, DOT, inspections). Providing support in the implementation of security trainings. Active participation in improving the safety culture and raising awareness of the importance of following procedures
